There is a great selection of different woods you can choose from if you would like to keep the warmth of natural timber. Timber staircases can also be painted or stained to match your existing décor, or carpeted – it’s a great, versatile option.

For a home, we recommend going for timber balustrades with a natural wood staircase. Balustrades are there to protect you from falling, but that doesn’t mean they can’t also be beautiful. Timber is classic, timeless and can be crafted into a wide variety of designs. They can also be painted to contrast or match with your stairwell or décor.
