We have several apprentices, some of whom have won national and international awards during their time with us. Our team regularly attend training and courses to continue their learning.

Most recently, the Lee Brothers team were thrilled to attend the 2023 Master Joiners Conference Awards and receive a total of four awards for apprentices, including the prestigious Gordon Caulfield Memorial Trophy for Apprenticeship Training. This reflects not only the level of dedication our apprentices hold, but the unwavering support offered to them while training. Investing in the next generation of skilled craftsmen is key to enduring success of Lee Brothers and our industry as a whole.

He now calls New Zealand and Rotorua his home and takes great pride in the customer service and offer he and the team can deliver to all Lee Brothers clients.

Paul treasures the skills he has learned as a timber joinery craftsman, mentored by his peers, and that have been his to share and pass on to apprentices which have followed. Rotorua is a close knit community and Paul values relationships made with customers, partners, and our Lee Brothers team over the last 35 years. He is excited for the future of Lee Brothers with a great team continuing to produce legacy products and offering a unique and personal customer experience. Paul’s role is to support technically and with company direction as he hands over to the author of the next chapter in the Lee Brothers story.

Mike Good

Mike has been working in the joinery industry since 2012. Originally from Invercargill Southland, he did a certificate in joinery at SIT before getting an apprenticeship at a local firm. He has covered most aspects of joinery from constructing all things cabinetry, stairs, windows and doors, right through to installation. He recently took a different approach and decided to transition into the office doing cabinetry and timber joinery detailing to further his skillset.
